What is a Narcissist?

A narcissist is someone who uses their power, achievements, and titles to gain control of the people around them to hide their low self esteem.

What is a Christian Covert Narcissist?
Is a narcissist that secretly hides behind Christianity to gain control and hide their low self esteem by using religion as a weapon to attract their supply and gain control.

Signs of a Christian narcissist:

1. Quotes scripture to correct others but avoids self- reflection.
2. Uses "God told me" to control people.
3. Shames people instead of trying to restore them.
4. They refuse accountability and play the victim when confronted.
5. Uses faith to silence or intimidate others.
6. Judges harshly but expects grace for themselves
7. Confuses control with spiritual leadership.
8. Believes disagreement equals disrespect and rebellion.
9. Talks about love but acts with pride and harshness.
10. Feels spiritually superior to those who struggle.

Signs your in a Relationship with a Christian narcissist:

1. They treat strangers better than the people at home.
2. Chip away at your self-worth.
3. Lie without guilt about anything.
4. Make you feel lonely and unloved.
5. Twist your words and make you doubt your own mind.
6. Break your trust in people, love, and yourself.
7. Play word games to confuse communication.
8. Drain you mentally, emotionally, and physically.

My Story

Crystal Chesser Smith,

I’m an Overcomer, Christian, and Transformational Coach for those Healing Emotionally, Spiritually, & Physically from Christian Covert Narcissistic Abuse.

I spent many years in confusion, loneliness, and self-condemnation after being emotionally, spiritually, & physically abused by Christian Covert Narcissists. I dealt with rumination, self-doubt, and rejection. I had to navigate multiple toxic relationships with narcissistic individuals who used the Bible and church to control me. Through the grace of God, I found freedom, confidence, joy, and peace. I discovered my God-given purpose and my authentic self. Since finding healing and restoration, I decided to follow the Holy Spirit and take a leap of faith to help other women find their healing through God. I learned how to turn my pain into a purpose and go from being broken to feeling beloved by God.
